Morley is proud to support and promote content that celebrates diversity, and throughout October one focus was on the contributions, successes and challenges of black communities across the world.
Throughout the month, all three centres celebrated Black History Month in a number of ways, including:
- embodied – a Morley Gallery exhibition featuring work by six women of colour
- revealing the winner of the 2023 Morley Prize for Unpublished Writers of Colour at the North Kensington Centre
- hearing from Former Sephora Brand Director Arieta Mujay at Chelsea
- a special Morley Radio Black History Month series
