EARLY YEARS EDUCATION
This course will provide you with the knowledge and understanding of babies and children from birth to seven years of age, enabling you to work under supervision in a variety of roles such as nursery practitioner, classroom assistant and pre-school practitioner.

• Be introduced to all aspects of early years practice from keeping children safe to legislation and theoretical perspectives • Learn how to support children's development and keep them safe.

The course gives you a ‘license to practice’, meaning you’ll be qualified to work unsupervised and manage or lead a setting.

• Study all aspects of early years practice from keeping children safe to legislation and theoretical perspectives, and undertake a longitudinal study of two children from 2 different age ranges • Put your knowledge into practice on a work placement two days a week.
