The day will feature a performance by the fantastic workshop leaders and culminate in an informal sharing performance in Morley College’s Emma Cons Hall.
All abilities, instruments and levels of experience are welcome to join with a range of groups suitable for everyone. Experience in jazz performance is not essential.
Admission free but registration required. For further information see below.
Workshop Groups

Group 2: for young female instrumentalists and vocalists who have existing experience in jazz and improvising and are interested in taking these skills further, developing confidence and experience of performing in an ensemble with other young learners. Suitable for young people that have already performed jazz ensembles and feel okay about being asked to improvise already. Led by vocalist and pianist Joy Ellis.
Group 3: for female instrumentalists who are more experienced playing jazz and are more confident improvisers. Suitable for players who already have some experience playing with jazz ensembles and are looking to develop their skills in improvisation further.
