On this course, you will learn about different types of radio programmes. You will learn how to prepare, build, and execute a magazine show. You will learn how to use a variety of appropriate radio and studio kit to produce content, including location and phone interviews. Finally, you will broadcast live on air as part of a Morley Radio takeover.

Entry requirements
A strong interest in radio Access outside of class to a basic recording set up (PC or Mac computer, audio interface, recording software such as Pro Tools, Logic, Cubase, etc. and basic microphone) is strongly recommended. Some experience of using Apple computers would be an advantage, but support during class will be given. Basic computer skills, file management, etc.
What you need to know before you enrol
A certain amount of homework is required. Due to the nature of the content of the course you might be exposed to high volume levels. We strongly encourage everyone to bring a pair of ear plugs to every lesson.
