Explore making artists’ books with a focus on how illustrative ideas develop through book projects. Use linocut and mono-printing techniques to create visual journeys through books and experiment with book structure, visual narrative and the visual language of print. Develop creative approaches to accordion books and single section pamphlets, including skills in stitching, hard covers, windows and using both sides of each book page.

There will be demonstration, group discussion, one to one tuition and practical project work. To ensure that you make the best possible progress on your course.
Entry requirements
No previous knowledge of bookbinding or printmaking is required. This class is a great introduction to making books and creative printed book content.
