An introduction to the basic hand and foot techniques relevant to contemporary styles of pop, rock, jazz and Latin. Suitable for absolute beginners. The course will provide participants, in a welcoming, supportive and relaxed environment, with the basic skills, musical elements and concepts to develop a good technical foundation to playing the Drum Kit. Please bring your own drumsticks.

Follow verbal instructions and practical demonstrations, work and practise as part of the group and individually and Perform in front of the class. Your input and participation in discussions and Q&A sessions is very important

A regular practice routine is essential to keep up with the course and get the most out of it. Due to the nature of the instruments/content of the course you might be exposed to high volume levels. We strongly encourage everyone to bring a pair of ear plugs to every lesson.
