Class format and activities
You will be taught in a friendly environment that encourages participation in a range of learning activities, including speaking in pairs or groups, written exercises and oral presentations. A variety of teaching and learning methods will be applied to support your learning: Question and answer, group activities, role-plays, multiple choices, gap-filling, listening and reading comprehension. In addition your tutor will use the internet for audio and visual material to support your learning. You should be committed to regular homework in order to reinforce what has been covered each week. Grammar will be an integrated element for all topics and help you to work on your skills more independently . In order to ensure that you make the best possible progress on your course, you will have regular,constructive and supportive feedback from your tutor, who will monitor your achievements by question and answer, some written work, speaking activities, regular homework assignments.and informal feedback in a friendly and supportive environment. Achievement on your course will be measured by whether you meet the learning outcomes above.

We recommend that you have completed stage 4 unit3 or GCSE level or equivalent level before enrolling for this course.
