Recreate some vintage glamour! Learn all about the hat shapes of the 30’s and 40’s using blocked felt or flat felt cut patterns. The films of this period are rich in their capturing of the fashions of the time for both men and women and provide a wealth of reference material for a variety of hat shapes and use of trimmings of all kinds. You can create either historical reproductions of hats or modern day hats inspired by this period. Start your journey in the 40's and then venture into different decades like 50’s and 60’s as a returning learner. Perfect for those who would like to work in theatre, film, media, or simply to look decadently fashionable.
