To have ideally completed Acoustic Guitar 1A or have equivalent playing experience at that level. Prior to this course students will have successfully played open major chords G, C, D, and Em. Students should be able to play simple strumming patterns in 4/4. Students should be able to read guitar tab and rhythm notation to a basic level.
You will need to be willing and able to do short, regular practice sessions between classes: at least 10–15 minutes, at least 4 times a week.
