What you will learn

Be a part of a well-established prestigious and dynamic creative community at the Chelsea centre for creative industries and further your career as an artist. The HNC is a 1 year level 4 qualification. It is a nationally recognised course which is equivalent to the first year of a university degree. It offers you the opportunity to further specialise and refine your professional practise in a supportive and stimulating environment. You will be allocated a personal tutor and a dedicated studio space and will be coached, challenged and supported to extend your technical skills and strengthen your body of work. You will take part in guided visits to exhibitions and galleries and will experience a broad range of workshop demonstrations that will introduce and build the skills you will need to successful complete the course. The HNC will give you the confidence to progress your ideas, make your mark in the context of current practice and support you in building a body of work that can best represent your vision, strengths and talents as a professional and exhibiting artist. On successful completion of this course you will achieve a Higher National Certificate in Art Practice.
