Are you an aspiring musician, vocalist, producer, performer, rapper, and/or DJ? Are you looking to develop your career and begin your next steps in a newly refurbished college? This programme has been developed to provide students with an understanding of music performance and production as a collaborative activity and prepare them for work in the music industry. The qualification has been designed for students who have a keen interest in music performance and/or music production, and who wish to explore and extend this interest via a full-time, immersive learning experience. The level 3 diploma draws upon established approaches to music teaching, learning and assessment that are successfully proven to appeal to and engage students seeking practical study over a more academic study route. Modules are centred on development of practical skills, industry awareness, and research methods. Applicants should have a keen interest and experience in either music, music production, or music performance. Willingness to learn, improve, and self-motivate will be crucial in ensuring successful completion. Upon successful completion, learners will achieve a BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in either Music Performance or Production, depending on their specialism.
