This course is for instrumentalists who want to make music with other people, collaborate, compose, arrange, improvise and jam in a range of different styles. Drawing on traditions of jazz, pop and rock and experimental composition you will learn: how to work with others; how to respond quickly and creatively to an unfamiliar prompt; how to use your instrumental skills to make music in a range of idioms. As well as being fun and creative this will improve your overall musicianship, ensemble playing and theory as well as improving your fluency on your instrument.
