This course is an 2-week introductory 2 course. This course focuses on a diagnostic piece of writing, the establishment of a spelling table, and the linking of simple sentences in order to improve the clarity and fluidity of writing. The course will lead onto the more comprehensive ‘Improve your writing skills’ course.

What you will learn
Learning Outcomes
By the end of this course, you will be able to:
- Understand some of your strengths and areas for development within your writing.
- Write more fluently by linking simple sentences appropriately.
Class format and activities
This course is in college. The lessons will take place in one of the newly-renovated classrooms. You will work individually, in pairs, in small groups or as a whole class. Everything that you learn will help you in your daily life and work.
Entry requirements
This is an Entry 3+ course. You will take an initial assessment, which will determine your current level of English.

• A minimum of 90% attendance per term• Completion of homework

After completion of this course, you will be able to continue onto the more comprehensive ‘Improve your writing skills’ course.
