If you want to learn how to drape fabric this is the taster for you! This course will provide the opportunity to have styles come to life directly on the dress stand before your very eyes . You will learn to prepare calico and the dress stand/mannequin for this specialized process and learn the rules that govern the way you shape the cloth to it. In the end you will prepare a paper pattern from a piece you have draped in class. These skills are intrinsically linked to pattern cutting so an experience of pattern cutting or using commercial patterns may prove useful though not necessary.
