Learning Outcomes
By the end of this course, you will be able to:
- Demonstrate an understanding of a variety of styles of electronic and urban music
- Sequence beats using Logic's drum machines in different styles and feels
- Sequence basslines, singing leads, and smooth strings
- Work with audio: sampling, loops, timestretching
- Build arrangements and making your music flow
- Use EQ, FX and compression to enhance your tracks

Access outside of class to Logic Pro, Ableton Live or other sequencing software is recommended. A strong interest in music. Basic computer skills, file management etc…

Due to the nature of the instruments/content of the course you might be exposed to high volume levels. We strongly encourage everyone to bring a pair of ear plugs to every lesson.
