What you will learn
Learning Outcomes
By the end of this course, you will be able to:
- • Discuss everyday topics
- • Read and understand emails, forms, stories, brochures, signs and symbols
- • Ask questions
- • Spell words important to you, like your address, nationality and the language you speak
Class format and activities
Lessons are currently online using MS Teams or Google Meet. You will work in pairs or small groups or individually. You will have a one-to-one with your tutor to talk about your progress. You will experience range of activities such as listening, role play, reading aloud, writing, quizzes, word searches and other games. You will use YouTube, an interactive whiteboard and computers to help you learn. Everything that you learn will help you in your daily life. Assessment methods: At the end of term, you may be able take a reading exam if you are ready to do so.

There are no entry requirements but you will have an interview.
