What you will learn
Learning Outcomes
By the end of this course, you will be able to:
- You will develop fluency, expand your vocabulary and work on longer sentence structures, for example by using relative clauses.
- You will be able to express and justify your opinions on a variety of topics, eg current affairs or cultural topics, orally and in writing
- You will learn to communicate confidently and consolidate the grammatical structures you have learned in previous classes, for example the case system.

Class format and activities
You are encouraged to participate actively in a friendly class environment. There will be ample opportunity for pair and small group work as well as listening to authentic audio and video material . Achievement on your course will be measured by whether you meet the learning outcomes above. At the start of the course you will have an opportunity to discuss these with your tutor and set your own personal targets, linked to the learning outcomes and future goals i.e.: progression to an advanced- level course.In order to ensure you make the best possible progress on your course, you will have regular constructive and supportive feedback from your tutor
Entry requirements
You probably have learned German for 3, 4 years or have spent some time in a German speaking country. There is no formal entry test but if you are new to the class, your teacher will be happy to assess you language over the telephone.
What you need to know before you enrol
Excellent attendance and punctuality is required. Be prepared to spend 1 hour minimum for homework.
