This course is open to all levels; our expert tutor will guide you through fuse-to-cast glass forming techniques: learn how to create glass forms by stacking and fusing multiple layers of sheet glass or frit to create three-dimensional designs. You will be introduced and have the opportunity to explore varying glass types, alongside kiln-forming processes necessary for the handling and cutting of glass, together with specific construction processes, alongside the use of prefabricated moulds for fuse-to-cast glass making. Glass pieces made using this method have the potential for a rich depth of imagery and colour, and can be as complex or simple as desired.
