Entry requirements
1. Initial Assessments and interview to evaluate current maths knowledge and skills, including capability to study. These assessments help determine the students the appropriate level of the GCSE Maths course, whether it be Foundation or Higher. 2. Previous Math Qualifications: There are usually no specific qualifications required for enrolling in GCSE Maths Foundation level. However, most progressing students will have successfully completed Functional Skills Level 1 or Level 2 programmes.
What you need to know before you enrol

Attendance Requirement: Minimum 90% attendance and punctuality required. Personal Study Time: Set aside at least 10 hours per week for study and homework. What you need
A computer or laptop with a stable internet connection and Ms Teams software is essential for accessing the online course materials, participating in virtual classes or discussions, and completing assignments. You must have your webcam on and have access to a microphone every time you join a live session on Ms Teams. Having a webcam and microphone will enable you to actively participate in discussions, ask questions, and collaborate with classmates and teachers. You will need an A4 squared ruled pad, pen, pencil, coloured highlighters and a folder in which to keep your work. You will also need: compass, protractor, ruler, pencils, pencil sharpener, eraser. You will also need a calculator (please be sure it is an allowed type and know how to use it well before the day of the exam). Recommended: Casio FX-85GTX or similar versions, e.g. FX-83GTX. Printer (Optional): Although not strictly required, having a printer allows you to print out worksheets, assignments, or practice papers for offline work or reference.
