What you will learn
Learning Outcomes
By the end of this course, you will be able to:
- Be able to log onto college systems
- Complete college induction and initial assessment
Class format and activities
You will work in pairs or small groups or individually. You will also have one-to-one discussions with your tutor to talk about your progress. You will experience a wide and varied range of activities such as listening to audios, role play, reading aloud, writing activities, quizzes, word searches and other games. You will also use digital learning technologies to help you learn. You will have an individual learning plan with targets that are personal to you.
Entry requirements
You will take an initial assessment, which will determine your current level of English. You may join this course, if your assessed level is below the standards at Entry Level 1.
What you need to know before you enrol
Course Fees: Variable rates are available. You may be able to do the course for FREE depending on your personal circumstances. Guided Learning Hours: 72 Class time : 6 hours per week Independent study: A minimum of 4 hours per week, including regular practice of what you learn in class and completing any homework. Attendance and Punctuality: Making good progress on the course will depend on regular attendance and punctuality. A minimum of 90% attendance is required from students at Morley College.
