Class format and activities
This is a practical course working with pewter, wax and plaster. There will be handouts and demonstrations of techniques and handling materials by the tutor, as well as group discussions and one to one feedback., In order to ensure that you make the best possible progress on your course, you will have regular feedback from your tutor, in a constructive and supportive environment.

None. This course is suitable for beginners and those who have had some experience of making sculpture.
What you need to know before you enrol
Some small lifting and manual dexterity required for working with pewter, wax and handling hot materials. Your tutor will guide you in working safely with this material.

Ideas, sketch books or small models for what you would like to make and any reference materials for ideas. , Protective clothing, overalls or apron and covered shoes or boots. , Basic materials included but charged for what is used over and above the materials allowance.
