Lots of practical exercises to embed good practice in speaking in front of a group. All exercises are demonstrated and illustrated. Debate; working one-out-front; small group work; all these strategies are employed as well as positive feedback from tutor and fellow students. We will be using Microsoft Teams as our online platform for live-stream. The tutor may provide additional material such as video recaps and/or practical tasks via any of the online platforms supported by the College (Moodle, MS stream, GoogleClassroom).
We try to cater for everyone who wishes to improve; a reasonable level of conversational English is preferred.
Students are expected to do some work or preparation between the weekly sessions. Excellent attendance and punctuality will be required from all students.
