Explore relief printing from different materials, with an emphasis on experimentation. Investigate techniques and surfaces such as lino, wood and recycled materials to build your ability to make choices in your printmaking practice and to make interesting prints. Work in lino, including etched lino, in the first part of term, and explore colour printing and layering. After that, explore found wood surfaces and recycled materials. The class is suitable for beginners and more experienced printmakers who work alongside each other and share ideas and knowledge.
