The Morley Chamber Choir and the Morley Meridian Choir, conducted by Benedict Collis-Rice and Giannis Giannopoulos, will present a captivating blend of works of festive and spiritual character.
The program will feature the following compositions:
– ‘Quatre motets pour un temps de Noël’ by Francis Poulenc
– ‘Christus Natus Est’ by Cecilia McDowall
– ‘Ave Rex’ by William Mathias
– The premiere of the prizewinning composition of the 2023 Morley Choral Composition Competition, composed exclusively for the Meridian Choir.
– Extracts from the Messiah by Handel, with soloists from the Morley Opera School
