Carol Wilhide Justin ARE is an artist-printmaker who specialises in Japanese woodcut; she trained with Japanese sensei at the MI-Lab studio, Fujikawaguchiko, Japan, and has been teaching Japanese woodcut at Morley since 2015.
She has recently written a book “Japanese Woodcut: Traditional techniques and Contemporary Practice” for the Crowood Press.
She exhibits her prints regularly at the RA Summer Exhibition, Woolwich Contemporary Print Fair and Bankside Gallery; her work is held in private and public collections internationally. As well as teaching at Morley and other London colleges she lectures for The Arts Society.
She graduated from the Royal College of Art with an MA in Print in 2017.
