As a linguist, Florence has always enjoyed either teaching foreign languages (French and Portuguese) or the challenge of teaching in a foreign language.
The opportunity of working as a manager at Morley appealed to her as she feels that she had gained a lot of experience of working, researching and travelling in different countries (but mainly Guinea-Bissau, Brazil and Cape Verde).
In addition to her day job at Morley, she is also the interviewer of the Lit Prize podcasts.
