Originally from Mexico and with a career in financial services, Raymundo previously spent 16 years working for HSBC where he held senior operational roles in Mexico, the US, France and Asia. He is currently working at the Bank of England as Chief Operating Officer for Markets, Banking, Payments & Resolution, leading the transformation of the area, including setting the strategy for modernising the system and processes.
Having taken courses and joined in activities at Morley College London since his arrival in the UK, Raymundo has seen the positive impact of the College in the local community in promoting access to education and the arts. This made Raymundo want to be a governor at the College. The role of governor gives him the chance to support the important mission of the College and to contribute his expertise on strategic guidance.
