I joined Morley College last year after relocating to the UK from Hong Kong, a wonderful city in Asia where I was born and grew up.
In my own education, I achieved multiple degrees in Creative Media and Comparative Literature. I developed as a teacher in the Higher Education sector as well as being an active multimedia practitioner. I am passionate about all things creative – expressed in visual media, in writing – and fascinated by how stories and ideas cross over into gaming and technology.
My new ventures are in the areas of gaming and learning technologies – the former is closely related to the BTEC L3 Extended Diploma in Esports qualification we are currently offering at the Chelsea Centre for the Creative Industries. Learning technology is all about making learning engaging, accessible, meaningful and fun – especially when we ‘gamify’ learning methods and activities.
