Virtual event helps promote Higher Technical Qualifications (HTQs)

A virtual event held by Morley College London has helped prospective students better understand new government qualifications for adults, starting this September.

A webinar held by the college targeted prospective students interested in studying for a Higher Technical Qualification (HTQ), which have been designed by the Government and employers to provide adult students with new opportunities to upskill, switch careers or gain a qualification.

Craig Hanlon-Smith, Vice Principal for Student Engagement and Centre Principal at the North Kensington Centre for Skills, was joined by colleagues to introduce the new qualifications, explain how they work, detail how they can help aid career development, and outline entry criteria and funding.

The audience included interested prospective students keen to know more and learn how to apply.

New options at Morley

This September, Morley will be launching four new HTQs (two of which are HTQ quality-marked). They will be available to study at our £13m renovated North Kensington Centre.

The new HTQs are Leadership and Management, Health Professions, Accountancy, and Project Management.  And, with funding from the UK government, Morley can offer access to one FREE study module.

You can view the webinar recording (under 20 minutes long) below.
