Students raise over £350 for the Malala Fund
On Tuesday 21st March, Morley College showcased a Women’s History Month Bazaar to celebrate Morley’s long history of providing education to women and girls.
We saw a great turnout of students, staff and community members who all came together on this day and raise money for the Malala Fund. There was a DJ who set the tone of the event called Rebekah Jade, founder of Pana Wellness (@weare.pana), a platform and community intersecting wellbeing and culture. The DJ equipment was provided by Brixton Radio (@brixtonradiolive).
The event was a great success, raising roughly over £350 for the Malala Fund and with North Kensington ESOL and Essential Skills students who very generously volunteered their time and skills to support the event on the day.
We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who came to support the Girls Education around the world and all who contributed to making this a great event for all to enjoy.
